Hilda Baci admitted she spent more over 80 million naira on her cookathon event after being dragged over claimed N25k charges.

In a WhatsApp exchange with a brand who accused her of costing them money on a forthcoming event, the chef revealed this information.

"I spent over N80m of my hard-earned money on my cookathon so that people could eat and drink for free," she claimed.

Hilda posted about the conversation on her Instagram story as well.

She had received criticism from the internet yesterday when the event's organizer called her out.

Remember that Hilda had denied knowing anything about an impending event where her followers would be charged N25,000 for a meet and greet in Abuja.

She claimed that the purpose of her cookathon was to give people a place to congregate, partake in food, and drink. She explained that it was a significant endeavor that required significant financial resources to complete.
