Real name; Gideon Friday Johnson, popularly known as RONEL is a native of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Born on 29th January, Singer Ronel is a graduate of Vocational Education from the prestigious University of Calabar,Cross River State.
He's an Afro Singer, Rapper, songwriter and a Performer
The singer is blessed with lovely parents and 4 siblings.
It can be recalled that in 2012, Ronel dropped his first studio jobs which songs include, 'Money & Weed', World, ft Duke Marshall all Songs were produced by Dr Ritzy.
In 2013, the singer also dropped a hit song (POWER OF LOVE FT JONNYKAGE), this song made waves across various digital stores and still trending.
The song gained lots of attentions and airplays, other good singles were dropped alongside and were all produced by Dr Ritzy and Bestbeat.
2014 he dropped only a song and thereafter,went on a long break until 2017 when he came back to drop another hit song (Vboot ft Fabian blu of marlian music) alongside other good sounds.
He made another big move in 2018 as he dropped a street anthem titled "Kamanam Mkpor" ft Mhoneyz & Okpo Records".
"Kamanam Mkpor"became an anthem in every street of calabar and uyo since it was more of indigenous song.
He ended the year (2018) with another global hit "Copi" after which he had to pause for a while to rethink, re-strategies, reconnect and rebuild himself/brand to be accepted globally.
Ronel is set to make a welcome back to the industry this year and his management team are on top gear to unveil his new Project and plans starting from this year (2024).
