The DMW melodic singer and multi-talented musician Mayorkun has released a new song named "Your Body" that was produced by Fresh VDM, a member of the DMW staff.
Mayorkun of Lagos ends his flawless 2020 campaign with the pop ballad "Your Body." This is his fourth official single for 2020 and is a follow-up to the hit song Betty Butter, which also features Davido, the DMW boss.
So far, the pop singer's year in 2020 has been fantastic. Mayorkun took a chance by playing with pop and British hip-hop driven instrumentation arranged by QueBeat, and it pays off brilliantly.
He started the year with the anthemic Bop tune "Geng." Following the great success, he released the experimental Bop song "Of Lagos," which was produced by Fresh VDM and features him rapping while referencing the phrase "Of Lagos" repeatedly. It had a pleasant melody and lyrics that went, "Of Lay, Lay, Lay.... Gbas Gbos, Set Awon..." Later in the middle of the year, he teamed up with Davido, the boss guy, and produced another smash hit called "Betty Butter." For weeks on end, all three singles were at the top of the music charts.
Along with these official hit singles, The Mayor also contributed to a number of other songs, including, to name a few, "The Best" by Davido, "The Best" by DJ Kaywise, "MJ Remix" by Bad Boy Timz, "If You No Love" by Chike, "If No Be You" by Jamopyper, "The Best" by Davido, and the most recent "E Be Tinz" by Dremo.
The most recent effort to end the year, "Your Body," is yet another hit!!! Mayorkun certainly merits recognition this year; he is one of the top artists of 2020, the one with a flawless track record and body of work.
